Aleš Čermák
Aleš graduated from Prague Academy of Fine Arts and since then he has been producing written publications (he is responsible for the independent publishing house Ausdruck Books), exhibitions and dramatic performances, which attempt to analyze in broad the world geopolitical context, as well as the so called topic of our time: the migrants. Since late 2014 he has been engaged in the work-in-progress project called "Adumbration of the Oncoming Failure".
Aleš Čermák has been selected for two residences. In 2016 he attended the HALLE 14 Center for Contemporary Art. Aleš worked on another chapter of his project, which he presented to the public on February 4, 2016. He also took part in a tour of the SpinnereiGalleries gallery on January 16, 2016.
In July 2019 Aleš created a performance called The Earth Trembles/Deep Adaptation in the former bus hall in DEPO2015 as part of an artistic residential program with the kind support of the City of Pilsen.
