Heini Nieminen (*1979) is a Finnish sculpture graduate who has been working on installations and environmental and community art for the past few years. Her working method during the residency in Nečtiny was loosely based on mandala.

"Nature slowly moved to the chapel in Nečtiny, to its floors and walls. I build my "earths" from natural elements I gather around. I colour individual parts of the floor with organic materials. I keep a balance between architectural space and nature. The chapel became my place of silence and concentration, and I became a painter."
